New Horizons Computer Learning Centers’ Wade Offers Expert Tips for Successful IT Sales During Elite ITPalooza Panel

New Horizons Computer Learning Centers’ four locations are part of one of the world’s most successful networks for corporate and military veteran IT training

FORT LAUDERDALE, FL – December 13, 2018 – There is no substitute for discipline and persistence when courting a prospective IT client, said Krista Wade, General Manager of New Horizons Computer Learning Centers of South Florida, during her highly-rated Thursday morning panel at ITPalooza in Fort Lauderdale.

“Discipline is going to get you beyond your competition when their sales kernel cracks and persistence is the fuel that will get you across the finish line,” said Wade, who is responsible for overseeing three South Florida locations for one of the world’s leading IT educators for corporations and veterans. “But never forget that even in IT, people are buying on emotion, so make sure to let them see your passion for the product and offer a solution to help them solve a problem, or help them close a skills gap.”

“It’s Beta to Have a Sales Process: How to Sell in the Tech Space When You Intensely Dislike Sales”, was the hot panel at the 7th Annual ITPalooza South Florida event at 10 a.m. on Dec. 13 at the Greater Fort Lauderdale/Broward County Convention Center. In addition to Wade, the panel included Doug Cohen, President of Summit Performance Training; Amjad Shamim, CEO/Managing Partner of AAJ Technologies; Jon Antevy, a construction program management software expert; and business development specialist Lonni Cibants.

Wade was a standout on the panel for her brilliant insights and successful track record leading the prestigious New Horizons program. For five years in a row, New Horizons South Florida has won the company’s most prestigious performance award and was named one of South Florida Business Journal’s Best Places to Work.

South Florida Business Journal named Wade, one of the best and brightest of the 2018 SFBJ Forty Under 40. The program is one of the business newspaper’s most sought after awards.
